Located on 70 acres of pastured land with spectacular panoramic views towards Baw Baw National Park, this beautiful and generously sized home was designed to accommodate a growing, active family with a love of pets. The floor plan was creatively adapted to match the contours of the land, with the aim of achieving a home that merged with the existing environment and minimised excavation.  Sustainability and energy efficiency were a top priority, allowing us to design a zoned home with a solar hydronic in-slab heating system giving the owners the ability to close off areas of the building in the varying seasons.  Sustainable materials were selected and specified along with the  addition of cooling courtyards to the south and west, all combining to result in a stunning, yet practical, energy efficient and environmentally sustainable family home.
