The alterations and additions to this 1920’s weatherboard were based on strong sustainability objectives. The 3 bedroom home has been designed around specific requests such as the Japanese bath & active thermal systems. Our approach to integrate Shou-sugi-ban cladding with interesting architectural forms blended with thermal recycled brick walls, recycled hydronic heating systems, self sufficient water supply and a cooling courtyard.
