This design concept for alterations and additions to a 1950s brick veneer family home required some very lateral thinking. Challenges included the conversion of an existing in ground pool to a water storage tank and removal of the existing tiled roof to allow integration of large cantilevered eaves. The owner’s desire for a modern and private oasis with a new inground pool was achieved through careful design of contemporary finishes throughout into a minimalist aesthetic.
