Situated in a new estate close to the centre of a rural Victorian town, this fully automated single storey home features a range of electronic automation. The unique floor plan turns to face the cul-de-sac ensuring privacy to the north eastern entertaining areas. In a climate with extreme seasonal variations, the thermal performance of this dwelling was paramount. Winter heating is provided through a log wood heater with water jacket to power the hydronic panels. The open plan living areas are naturally cooled through the employment of a cooling courtyard to the south and high level windows to the north.
