Concept Design

  • Initial planning and design phase

Town Planning

  • Preparation of town planning application for council
  • Includes written report and a specific set of drawings required in relation to municipal overlays that may apply to your site.

Design completion

  • Finalise the design
  • Structural engineering
  • Selection of colours and finishes, fixtures and fittings
  • Liaison with other consultants occur at this stage (structural engineer, building surveyor)

Construction Drawings (Working drawings)

  • Technical drawings Developed
  • These are required for building approval from council and to issue to prospective builders and contractors for quoting.
  • Drawings include: floor plans, sections, elevations, architectural details, electrical and roofing plans, door and window schedules, joinery details and scope of works schedules.

Tender process

  • Liaise with builders to obtain quotes
  • Evaluate submitted quotes
  • Assist you to choose a suitable builder based on these quotes.

Contracts Administration

  • Oversee the project
  • Liaise with the builder
  • Site inspections
  • Provide additional information as required
  • Ensure design intent is followed
